A cutting, charcuterie, or cheese board featuring a design of your own creation.

Our boards meet FDA requirements for food safety and are food safe. Choose between bamboo or slate and rectangle or paddle shape. If you aren't sure, we can help you determine which options work best for your needs.

Please note:

Bamboo and slate are all naturally occurring materials so surface as well as physical properties can vary greatly from piece to piece

Small rectangle bamboo boards may or may not include an integrated handle. If you have a preference, please contact us to check availability.

Bamboo Paddle - 7x13.5 (including bottleneck handle)

Please expect natural variations in the colors, sizes, and shapes of any materials used as well as the color and consistency of the engraved portions if applicable. The finished item(s) you receive may vary slightly in appearance from the pictures shown online but each item is represented as accurately as possible.

OUR STATEMENT ON BAMBOO Bamboo is a natural, organic, eco-friendly material in the grass family. But don't let that fool you, bamboo cutting boards are stronger than maple yet won't dull your knives and they're easy to clean! Bamboo can grow on lands and in conditions where other crops would struggle and it is a rapid growing material which makes it highly renewable and bountiful. And, before being harvested, bamboo plants absorb substantial amounts of carbon, making it a material that aids against climate change too!

Because of these properties, we typically use and recommend bamboo products when applicable. However, if you are looking for other wood options, we CAN provide them.

EXCHANGES Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept exchanges for:
Custom or personalized orders

Customers may be responsible for return shipping charges, re-shipping charges, and any additional costs that may apply.

It is very important to us that you are satisfied with your order. If you received any items broken or damaged from shipment, please contact us within 3 days of delivery to replace/repair your damaged item(s) via the contact form on the contact page. Due to variations in the materials and availability of supplies, we may not have the exact materials/supplies to repair or match your products. If this happens to be the case, we will contact you with further information.

CANCELLATIONS If, for some reason, you must cancel your order, please notify us immediately by e-mail or via the contact form on the contact page referencing your order number. If it hasn't shipped, we are happy to cancel and refund your money.

Shipping Policy
SHIP-TO Please double-check that the shipping address you provide is correct, as this is a common reason for loss of items. The Captain's Pineapple will not be responsible for items shipped to an incorrect address at the fault of the buyer.

PROCESSING Please allow up to 2-3 business days for items to be processed for shipping unless specified otherwise after checkout. For custom orders and made on demand items, please allow 2-3 weeks.

ECO-FRIENDLY We do not typically include paper invoices with orders. If you would like us to include a paper copy, please make a note requesting one at checkout.

We reuse boxes and packaging material. If for some reason, you do not want your order packaged using used materials, please contact us.

GIFT NOTES If you would like a special note included with your order, please make a request prior to checkout and include what you would like the note to say.

SHIPPING CHARGES The shipping charges include the packaging and postage. All of our items are packaged with care in protective mailers or boxes. We try to ship with the most economical methods. Orders are typically insured against loss or damage up to $50. Contact seller for special shipping or packaging requests (additional fees may apply).

COMBINED SHIPPING If you are ordering multiple items, we can combine shipping.
Not dishwasher safe
Bamboo: Hand wash with warm, soapy water. Wipe excess water with cloth. Air dry. For longevity, apply food-grade mineral oil before first use and at least once per month. Do not cut on engraved side.

Acacia: Hand wash with warm, soapy water. Wipe excess water with cloth. Air dry. Season occasionally with vegetable oil. Do not cut on engraved side.

Slate: Wipe with a damp sponge or non-abrasive cloth. Air dry. Engraving may appear dulled until dry. Apply a drop or two of food grade mineral oil about twice a year to maintain polished look.
